At Stud Wagyu, “living large” means raising cattle with space, calm handling, and thoughtful care. We believe low stress, strong genetics, and consistent nutrition are the keys to producing exceptional Wagyu.
Calves spend their first six months by their mothers’ side, growing naturally on milk and pasture. From the start, we focus on docility and daily interaction so our cattle are comfortable with people and remain calm in any environment.
After weaning, the herd receives a small custom grain ration each morning along with plenty of grazing, seasonal hay, and free-choice minerals. Daily feeding also creates regular contact with our team, reinforcing trust and reducing stress. Cattle are routinely worked through pens and chutes to keep everything familiar and low pressure.
Our steers transition into small, quiet paddocks with good drainage and plenty of shade. They’re grouped by age and size, given a specialized feed program, and always raised in low-density, low-stress conditions. As they mature, they have continued access to our custom ration to support steady growth and quality.
